BCECE Lateral Entry Counselling 2025 Schedule Out for Second-Year Engineering Admissions

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the detailed counselling schedule for lateral entry admissions into the second year of engineering courses for the academic year 2025. Eligible candidates can participate in the counselling process by visiting the BCECEB official website.

The counselling process will be conducted in two phases, with the possibility of a mop-up round in case of remaining vacancies. Candidates must adhere to the given schedule to secure admission into their preferred engineering institutes.

BCECE Lateral Entry 2025: Admission Process Timeline

The seat matrix for the Lateral Entry (LE) counselling will be available on July 8, 2025. The choice filling window opens on July 10 and will close on July 13, giving candidates time to fill and lock their preferences for college and course.

The provisional seat allotment result for the first round will be declared on July 16. If any candidate wishes to raise an objection regarding the allotment, they may do so via email by July 17.

After reviewing the objections, the final seat allotment result for Round 1 will be published on July 19. Candidates can download their provisional allotment letters from July 19 to July 22. Document verification and admission for Round 1 will take place between July 21 and July 22 at assigned nodal centres.

Round 2 And Mop-Up Counselling Details

The second round of counselling will begin with the release of the provisional seat allotment on July 28. Candidates can submit objections, if any, by July 29. The final allotment result will be declared on July 31, and selected candidates will be able to download their allotment letters from July 31 to August 2. Document verification and admissions for this round are scheduled on August 1 and 2.

If there are still vacant seats after both rounds, BCECEB will organize a mop-up round. Details for this final round of counselling will be shared on the official website at a later stage.
