Aditya Mangla will lead the food delivery business for the next two years, taking over from Rakesh Ranjan, who held the position for the past two years and will now exit all senior management roles. Mangla has been part of Eternal since March 2021, where he has served in significant capacities. His contributions to enhancing customer experience and building strong partnerships with restaurants have been instrumental in driving operational improvements.

This leadership change comes amid legal scrutiny. In April 2025, the Delhi High Court issued notices to Zomato and the Competition Commission of India (CCI) following complaints by the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI). The association alleged exclusion from confidential findings during an antitrust probe. The case remains unresolved and may have long-term implications for Zomato’s regulatory landscape.
