Description
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has reopened the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) to facilitate admissions to Class 11 for students who passed the 2025 Class 10 Special and Compartment Examinations. Eligible candidates can apply through the official portal, during the specified application window from July 4 to July 6, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria Expanded To Include Other Boards
The admission portal is open not only for students from BSEB but also for those who have cleared equivalent matriculation examinations conducted by CBSE, ICSE, and other recognized education boards. These candidates are also eligible to apply for Intermediate (Class 11) admissions in government and private institutions across Bihar.
Extended Deadline For Intermediate Course Applications
In a move to benefit a larger number of students, BSEB has extended the final date for submitting applications to July 6, 2025. Initially, the deadline was set for May 14, then revised to May 20, and now further extended to ensure more students can access admissions into streams like Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, and Vocational courses.
OFSS: Simplifying Admission Process
The OFSS platform enables students to apply to multiple institutions through a single online application, eliminating the need for physical visits to each college. This initiative is especially aimed at helping students in rural and underserved regions, promoting equal access to higher secondary education.
Steps Guide To Apply Via OFSS Bihar Portal
First visit the Website official.
Click on “Apply Online,” enter your mobile number and email ID to register, and set a password to log in.
Enter your personal and academic details, and choose your preferred stream and institutions.
Upload scanned copies of required documents and make the payment using net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI.
Submit and Confirm: Review the application, submit it, and download the confirmation receipt for future use.

Mobile App Launched For Better Accessibility
