The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the written examination for the post of Assistant Programmer in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results by visiting the official UPSC official website. The result can be accessed using the candidate’s roll number.
The written examination was held on June 15, 2025, and is part of the recruitment process to fill 27 vacancies for the post of Assistant Programmer in the CBI.
Candidates who have cleared the written exam will now move on to the interview stage. UPSC has also stated that the marks obtained by the candidates will be published on the official website after the entire recruitment process is concluded.

Documents Required For Interview
Candidates shortlisted for the interview must bring the printout of their application form along with original documents and self-attested copies as specified in the interview summon letter. Key documents include:
Class 10 certificate or equivalent showing date of birth
For candidates from Tamil Nadu and Kerala, where DoB is not mentioned on certificates, school leaving certificates will be accepted.
Degree or diploma certificates along with mark sheets for all academic years
If the final certificate is not available, provisional certificates will be accepted.
If claiming equivalent qualifications, provide an order or letter from a recognized authority detailing the basis for equivalency.
Experience certificates (in the prescribed format) from relevant organizations or departments, mentioning:
Duration of employment (with exact dates)
Nature of duties performed
Basic or consolidated pay drawn
Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in the prescribed format from a competent authority. It should include:
Candidate's caste
Relevant act/order under which the caste is recognized
Village/town of residence
OBC candidates must also submit a declaration confirming non-creamy layer status as of the crucial date, along with their community certificate.
