Description
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the results of the Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) 2025. Candidates who took the exam can now check and download their results by visiting the official website.
Key Highlights
The PECE 2025 was conducted on May 18, 2025. To enhance transparency in the evaluation process, the board has scanned and uploaded the OMR answer sheets of all candidates, which will be available for download from July 3, 2025, onwards.
Earlier, the provisional answer keys for all four sets of question papers were released on May 20, and objections were accepted until May 23, 2025. After reviewing the objections, a panel of subject experts finalized the answers and published the revised answer key on the board’s website.

e-Counselling Process For Academic Year 2025–26
The admission process for diploma engineering programmes will be conducted through an online e-Counselling system. This includes seats in government and private polytechnic colleges, institutions for women, and PPP-mode colleges in Jharkhand.
Counselling Schedule
Here is the official timeline for the first round of seat allotment:
July 3, 2025: Start of online registration and choice filling
July 8, 2025: Last date for registration and choice filling
July 9–10, 2025: Window for editing submitted choices
July 13, 2025: Round 1 seat allotment result declaration
July 14–19, 2025: Downloading of seat allotment letters
July 14–19, 2025: Document verification and reporting at allotted institutes
Candidates must pay a partial enrolment fee of Rupees 1000 to download the provisional allotment letter. This amount will later be adjusted against the tuition fee if the candidate confirms admission in the allotted institution.
