Description

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially opened the online registration process for the recruitment of Specialist Officers (SO) under CRP SPL-XV for the year 2025–26. Eligible candidates can now apply via the IBPS offcial website. The recruitment drive aims to fill 1007 vacancies across various public sector banks in India.

Important Dates For IBPS SO 2025

  • Online Registration & Application Editing: July 1 to July 21, 2025

  • Online Fee Payment: July 1 to July 21, 2025

  • Preliminary Exam Call Letter Download: August 2025

  • Preliminary Examination: August 2025

  • Preliminary Result Declaration: September 2025

  • Main Exam Call Letter Download: September/October 2025

  • Main Examination: November 2025

  • Main Exam Result Declaration: November 2025

  • Interview Process: December 2025 / January 2026

  • Provisional Allotment: January / February 2026

A total of 1007 vacancies have been announced for the following posts:

  • IT Officer (Scale I)

  • Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I)

  • Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I)

  • Law Officer (Scale I)

  • HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I)

  • Marketing Officer (Scale I)

The following nationalized banks will be recruiting through IBPS SO 2025:

  • Bank of Baroda

  • Bank of India

  • Bank of Maharashtra

  • Canara Bank

  • Central Bank of India

  • Indian Bank

  • Indian Overseas Bank

  • Punjab National Bank

  • Punjab & Sind Bank

  • UCO Bank

  • Union Bank of India

Eligibility Criteria For IBPS SO 2025

Nationality

Applicants must fall into one of the following categories:

  • Citizen of India

  • Subject of Nepal or Bhutan

  • Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before January 1, 1962, intending permanent settlement

  • Person of Indian origin who migrated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam, etc., intending to permanently reside in India

  • Note: A certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India is mandatory for candidates under the above categories (except Indian citizens).

Age Limit (as of July 1, 2025)

  • Minimum age: 20 years

  • Maximum age: 30 years

  • Candidates must have been born between July 2, 1995, and July 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive)

  • Age relaxations apply to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other reserved categories as per government norms.

Application Fees

  • Rupees 175 for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates

  • Rupees 850 for all other categories
