The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department has announced the CAP Round 1 merit list for First Year Junior College (FYJC) or Class 11 admissions today, June 28, 2025. Candidates who participated in the registration and counselling process can now view their allotment status by visiting the official website.
Applicants can check their allotted junior colleges using their application number on the portal.
Admission Process After Allotment
Students who have been allotted a college in the first round must report to their respective institutions between June 30 and July 7 (by 6:00 PM) to complete the admission formalities.
According to an official update on the website:
"Round-1 Allotment List and Minority, Management, In-house Quota List are Published on 28-06-2025. Students must visit their allotted college for admission from 30-06-2025 to 07-07-2025 till 6:00 PM."
Seat Availability And Quotas
This year, a total of 21,23,040 seats are being offered across 9,435 junior colleges and higher secondary schools participating in the first admission round.
Out of these, 18,97,526 seats fall under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), while the remaining 2,25,514 seats are allocated under various reserved quotas such as minority, management, and in-house categories.
The list of vacant seats for the next round will be published on July 4, 2025.
