Description
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025. The online registration process has commenced, and interested candidates can now apply through the official SSC official website.
Vacancy Details And Application Deadline
As of now, 1075 vacancies have been announced for the post of Havaldar, while the vacancies for MTS posts are currently under compilation and will be notified later.
Last date to apply: July 24, 2025
Last date for fee payment: July 25, 2025
Correction window: July 29 to July 31, 2025
Exam Schedule And Selection Process
The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) for both MTS and Havaldar posts is scheduled to take place from September 20 to October 24, 2025.
MTS Selection Process: Only CBE
Havaldar Selection Process: CBE + Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST)
The examination will be conducted in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages, including:
Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri (Meitei), Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 10 or equivalent exam on or before August 1, 2025.
Age Limit (as on August 1, 2025): MTS posts: 18 to 25 years, Havaldar & certain MTS posts: 18 to 27 years, Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Fee: Rupees 100
Exempted Categories: Women, SC/ST candidates, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation
