Purpose Of Scheme

Allocation Of Scholarships

Distribution: Equal share for boys and girls (50% each)

Allocation Basis: Distribution is based on the population of eligible students across State Education Boards, with separate quotas for CBSE and ICSE boards.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following conditions:
Academic Performance
Must be among the top 20 percentile scorers in their respective Class 12 board examinations.
Applicable to all academic streams – Science, Commerce, Arts, and Vocational.
Course Type
Must be enrolled in regular full-time degree programmes at recognized institutions.
Distance learning and diploma courses are not eligible.
Institution Type
Must be studying in colleges/institutions approved by AICTE, UGC, or other relevant regulatory bodies.
Income Criteria
Gross annual income of the applicant’s parents/guardian should not exceed Rupees 4.5 lakh from all sources.
Non-Availement of Other Scholarships
Students must not be beneficiaries of any other scholarships from the Centre/State or private institutions, including tuition waivers or fee reimbursement schemes.
Scholarship Renewal Conditions
To continue receiving the scholarship in subsequent years, recipients must:
Secure at least 50% marks in each year’s annual examination.
Maintain a minimum attendance of 75% throughout the academic year.
Adhere to academic and behavioral standards set by their institution.
Amount Of Scholarship
The scheme offers financial support at graduation, post-graduation, and integrated/professional course levels as follows:
