Description
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the Group 1 Mains Result 2025 on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the written examination can now check and download the list of qualified candidates.
According to the official update, a total of 182 candidates have successfully cleared the Mains examination and are eligible to appear for the next stage the Oral Test/Interview, scheduled between June 23 and June 30, 2025. The interviews will be conducted at the APPSC Office, 2nd Floor, New HOD’s Building, M.G. Road, Opp. Indira Gandhi Municipal Complex, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – 520010.
The Commission has informed that individual call letters will be sent to the shortlisted candidates shortly. In case any candidate has an issue with the assigned interview date, they are advised to write to the Commission at group1psc@gmail.com by June 15, 2025.
APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam Details
The Main (Written) Exam was conducted from May 3 to May 9, 2025, across four district centres and 13 venues. The exam comprised seven papers:
Paper I: General Essay
Paper II: History and Culture
Paper III: Indian Polity, Constitution, Law, and Governance
Paper IV: Economy and Development of India and Andhra Pradesh
Paper V: Science, Technology, and Environmental Issues
Paper VI & VII: English and Telugu (Qualifying only)
Each paper was for 150 marks, with a duration of 180 minutes per paper. While English and Telugu papers are qualifying in nature, the remaining five papers contribute a total of 725 marks. The Interview/Oral Test carries 75 marks, making the total score for final selection 800 marks.
