Description
Ashwani Lohani, renowned for his leadership roles in Indian Railways and Air India, has been appointed Director of the Prime Ministers Museum and Library (PMML) in New Delhi. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved his appointment on June 4, 2025, for a tenure of three years. He steps into the role following the departure of former Power Secretary Sanjiv Nandan Sahai.

Lohani is credited with reviving underperforming government entities like ITDC and MPSTDC.
