In a historic demonstration of bravery, resilience, and female empowerment, the Tri-Services All-Women Sailing Expedition Team of the Indian Armed Forces returned to India on June 4, 2025, after completing a challenging two-month journey covering 1,800 nautical miles to Seychelles. The expedition took place on the indigenous vessel ‘Triveni,’ a 56-foot yacht, marking the first-ever international open-sea voyage undertaken by an all-women crew comprising personnel from the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
