On June 1, 2025, the Government of India launched the Jan Aushadhi Kendra (JAK) Experiential Learning Program as a part of the nationwide initiative ‘Seva Se Seekhen Learn by Doing’. This program is a joint effort by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Department of Pharmaceuticals, aiming to enhance youth development and public health engagement.

The initiative involves the placement of five youth volunteers in Jan Aushadhi Kendras (JAKs) across each district. These centres are known for supplying high-quality, affordable generic medicines. The programme spans 15 days, offering young participants direct, real-world learning opportunities in a healthcare setting.

Assisting in customer service and awareness campaigns
