India is preparing to launch its first-ever Special Economic Zone (SEZ) focused exclusively on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This ambitious project, led by RackBank Datacenters Pvt. Ltd., involves an investment of Rupees 1,000 crore and is designed to accelerate the country’s advancement as a global technology leader.
Key Features Of AI SEZ
Spanning six acres, the upcoming SEZ will include a cutting-edge data centre spread across 1.5 lakh square feet. Equipped with high-performance AI infrastructure, the zone will feature four high-density data centres with a total power capacity of 80 megawatts. These facilities will support extensive digital activities and AI innovation at scale.

This initiative is expected to open up significant employment avenues, especially for youth from remote regions like Kanker and Sukma.
