Description
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially released a recruitment drive for the position of Assistant Section Officer (ASO). According to the notification, a total of 41 vacancies are available under the Bihar government. Interested candidates can start applying online from May 29, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria For BPSC ASO Posts
Candidates must meet the following requirements before applying:
Age Limit: Applicants should be at least 21 years old and not exceed 37 years of age as of August 1, 2025.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is extended for certain categories as follows:
Backward Classes/OBC: Up to 40 years
Unreserved Female Candidates: Up to 40 years
Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST): Up to 42 years
Application Fee For BPSC ASO 2025
Candidates who are from outside Bihar or belong to the SC, ST, or PwD categories (with 40% or more disability) are required to pay a fee of Rs 150.
All other applicants must pay Rs 650 as the application fee.
