Description
The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially announced the Probationary Officer (PO) Mains Exam Result 2025 on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the Mains examination can now check their results through the SBI official website.
SBI PO Mains Exam 2025 Overview
The SBI PO Mains examination was held on May 5, 2025, in a single online shift. The test comprised two parts:
Objective Test: 200 marks
Descriptive Test: 50 marks
To qualify, candidates were required to score the minimum cut-off marks in each section, including the descriptive component.
Next Stage Of SBI PO Recruitment Process
Candidates who have cleared the Mains examination will proceed to Phase III of the selection process, which includes:
Psychometric Test
Group Exercise (20 marks)
Personal Interview (30 marks)
Insights gained from the psychometric test may be shared with the interview panel to aid in evaluating the candidates.
Final Selection Criteria
Only the scores obtained in Phase II (Mains) and Phase III (Interview & Group Exercise) will be considered for the final merit list. These marks will be normalized to 100. It’s important to note that preliminary exam marks will not be included in the final result.
