Description
The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) has released the results for the 2025 Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination. Students can view their results on the official website. This year, a total of 12,281 candidates registered for the examination, and 12,105 appeared. Among them, 8,658 students belong to the Arts stream, 2,798 to the Science stream, and 649 to the Commerce stream.

Result Overview
The overall pass percentage for the HSSLC examination this year stands at 81.10%. The Science stream achieved the highest pass percentage at 85.63%, followed by Arts at 81.13% and Commerce at 74.42%.
Out of the total candidates, 701 students secured distinctions, 3,250 passed in the first division, 3,970 in the second division, and 1,896 in the third division.
This year, all the toppers are female students. Lalrammawii Tochhawng from Mount Carmel School, Aizawl, topped the Arts stream with 471 out of 500 marks. In the Science stream, Cynthia Lalhlupuii Shangpliang from St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School, Aizawl, emerged as the topper with 477/500 marks. Kristin Laldinpuii Ralte from Oikos Higher Secondary School, Aizawl, secured the highest marks in the Commerce stream with 470/500.
