Description
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the Stage 1 results of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2025. Candidates who took part in the entrance test can now access their results on the NTA’s official portal.
Overview Of NIFTEE 2025
The NIFTEE exam is conducted for admissions into Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programs at the National Institutes of Fashion Technology (NIFT) for the 2025-26 academic session. Stage 1 of the entrance exam was held on February 9, 2025 (Sunday) across 91 exam centres in 81 cities throughout India.
Exams were conducted in both Hindi and English, and depending on the programme, were held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) or Paper-Based Test (PBT) mode. The exam covered admissions to programs including:
Bachelor of Design (B.Des.)
Master of Design (M.Des.)
Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M.)
Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech.)
Lateral Entry Admissions (B.Des. and B.F.Tech.)
Result Details
The NTA has released Stage 1 results for all programs except the Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.), whose results will be announced separately along with the final outcome for all UG and PG programs. It is also clarified that there will be no Stage 2 exam for B.F.Tech. candidates.
Shortlisting Criteria
Candidates have been shortlisted for Stage 2 based on their performance in Stage 1, as per the approved category-wise seat matrix and selection criteria defined by NIFT. The shortlisting follows a 1:4 ratio for every available seat, four candidates are shortlisted. Additionally, PwD candidates must have obtained at least 50% of their category's cut-off score to qualify.

B.Des. – Shortlisted/Not Shortlisted for Situation Test
PG Courses (M.Des., MFM, M.F.Tech.) – Shortlisted/Not Shortlisted for Personal Interview
B.Des. (Lateral Entry) – Shortlisted/Not Shortlisted for Studio Test & Interview
B.F.Tech. (Lateral Entry) – Shortlisted/Not Shortlisted for Technical Ability Test (TAT) & Interview
The NTA has also stated that dates for the Stage 2 examinations will be announced soon on the official website.

First visit the official website.
Now click on the link.
Logging in using their Application Number and Date of Birth.
