The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) announced the results of the 2025 High School and Intermediate examinations on Friday from its headquarters. The declaration was made jointly by Dr. Mahendra Dev, Director of Secondary Education, and Bhagwati Singh, Secretary of the Board.
Girls once again outshined boys in both examinations. In the High School results, girls led by 7.21%, while in the Intermediate results, the margin was even wider at 9.77%.
The overall pass percentage in the High School examination rose by 0.56% compared to 2024, reaching 90.11%, whereas the Intermediate pass percentage dropped by 1.45%, standing at 81.15% this year.

High School Examination:
Girls' pass percentage: 93.87%
Boys' pass percentage: 86.66%
Topper: Yash Pratap Singh (RKD Inter College, Jalaun) – 97.83%
Second Rank: Anshi (Shivaji SN Inter College, Etawah) and Abhishek Yadav (Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Barabanki) – 97.67%
Third Rank: Ritu Garg (DPS Vidya Mandir Inter College, Moradabad), Arpit Verma (Baburam Savitri Devi Inter College, Sitapur), and Simran Gupta (RKD Inter College, Jalaun) – 97.50%
Intermediate Examination:
Girls' pass percentage: 86.37%
Boys' pass percentage: 76.60%
Topper: Mahak Jaiswal (Bacharam Yadav Inter College, Prayagraj) – 97.20%
Second Rank: Sakshi (Shri Narayan Smarak Inter College, Amroha), Adarsh Yadav (Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Sultanpur), Shivani Singh (SP Inter College, Prayagraj), and Anushka Singh (Dharma Devi Inter College, Kaushambi) – 96.80%
Third Rank: Mohini (Chaudhary S Singh Inter College, Etawah) – 96.40%

Despite the overall strong performance by regular candidates in High School, the Intermediate results saw private candidates surpass regular ones by a narrow margin of 0.13% in pass percentage.
Evaluation & Exam Timeline
The High School answer sheets were evaluated by 92,594 teachers, while the Intermediate papers were checked by 56,066 evaluators. The examinations were held from February 24 to March 12, 2025, across 8,140 centers in the state, completed in 13 working days. Evaluation work was conducted at 261 centers between March 19 and April 1, 2025.
