Description
The sixth edition of Exercise DUSTLIK, a bilateral military drill between India and Uzbekistan, officially kicked off on April 16, 2025, at the Foreign Training Node in Aundh, Pune, Maharashtra. This joint training initiative will continue until April 28, 2025, and aims to advance strategic and tactical cooperation between the two nations’ armed forces.
The exercise is held annually, alternating between India and Uzbekistan. The 2024 edition took place in Termez District, Uzbekistan.

- Simulated response to a terrorist attack involving occupation of a defined urban area

Build tactical interoperability in sub-conventional and counter-terrorist operations
Set up a Joint Operations Centre (JOC) at battalion level
Execute missions like raids, search-and-destroy, crowd control, and helipad operations
Carry out Special Heliborne Operations (SHBO) and Small Team Insertion & Extraction (STIE)
Deploy Counter-UAS strategies to defend against drone threats
Coordinate logistical and air support in simulated hostile environments

Drones: For real-time surveillance and target acquisition
Helicopters: Used for reconnaissance, troop movement, and air support
Counter-UAS Systems: To detect and neutralize enemy drone activities
