Description
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is all set to conduct the 70th Mains Examination starting from April 25, 2025. Admit cards for the examination are now available for download on the commission’s official website.
Use Of Calculators During Exam
BPSC has issued a detailed notification regarding the permissible use of calculators during specific exam papers:
Ordinary calculators are allowed for the General Studies Paper I, scheduled on April 28, 2025.
Scientific calculators will be permitted for candidates appearing in the Mathematics and Statistics papers on April 30, 2025.
No calculators will be allowed during the optional subject paper on April 29, 2025 (first shift).
Important Guidelines For Candidates With Unclear Application Details
In a separate announcement, the commission addressed discrepancies in uploaded photographs and signatures of certain candidates. These individuals must adhere to the following instructions on April 25, 2025, at the exam center:
Declaration Form Submission:
Download the declaration form from the BPSC official website.
Paste a recent color passport-size photograph attested by a Gazetted Officer.
Provide signatures in both Hindi and English at the designated areas.
Photograph Requirements:
Two attested color photographs must be brought to the exam center.
One photo must be affixed beside the designated space on the e-admit card.
The second will be affixed to the office copy of the e-admit card in the presence of the center superintendent.
Identity Verification:
Candidates must carry a valid photo ID (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License) as specified in their online application form.
Entry into the examination hall will only be granted after successful verification of documents and photographs by the examination authorities.
