On April 14, 2025, coinciding with World Quantum Day and the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQST 2025), the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Government of India unveiled a landmark document the International Technology Engagement Strategy for Quantum (ITES-Q). This first-of-its-kind framework marks a significant step in India's mission to become a global leader in quantum science, technology, and innovation.
The strategy was officially launched by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government, symbolizing India’s commitment to building robust global partnerships in this emerging field.
