Description

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar, has officially clarified that it will not be releasing the results for the Class 12 Science stream or GUJCET 2025 on April 17, countering recent misinformation circulating online.

According to the board, no official statement or press release has been issued confirming an April 17 result date. The HSC (Class 12) Science exams and the GUJCET 2025 were both conducted in March, and any update regarding the result announcement will be published solely on the official website.

In a statement originally issued in Gujarati, the board urged students and stakeholders to disregard fake news about the result date. "It is informed that the press release circulating regarding the declaration of HSC Science and GUJCET 2025 results on April 17 is completely false. The official announcement will be made exclusively through the board’s website,” the GSEB emphasized.

Exam Timeline and Current Status

  • HSC Science Exams: February 27 to March 10, 2025

  • General Stream Exams: Concluded on March 17, 2025

  • GUJCET 2025: Held on March 23, 2025

  • GUJCET Final Answer Key: Already released

In 2024, GUJCET results were declared on May 9, with the exam having taken place on March 31. Over 1.37 lakh students appeared, and a significant number secured high percentiles—510 in Group A and 990 in Group B scoring above the 99 percentile.

The GSEB advises students to stay updated only through official channels and refrain from relying on unverified sources for result announcements.
