Description

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), in collaboration with the Indian Navy, successfully conducted a flight test of the Vertically-Launched Short-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (VLSRSAM) on March 26, 2025. The test was executed from a land-based vertical launcher at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, Odisha. The missile demonstrated its advanced capabilities by accurately detecting, engaging, and neutralizing a high-speed aerial target at a very close range and low altitude.
