Description
The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) has Launched the Samarth Incubation Program, an initiative aimed at fostering innovation in India’s telecommunications and IT sectors. In collaboration with the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) as the implementation partner, the program seeks to empower startups by providing essential resources and industry support.
Objectives Of Samarth Program
Samarth is designed to support sustainable and scalable business models while encouraging startups to develop cutting-edge technologies. Key focus areas include:
Telecom Software Applications
Cyber Security
5G/6G Technologies
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Internet of Things (IoT)
Quantum Technologies
Support And Resources For Startups
Startups selected for the program will receive financial assistance of up to ?5 lakh. Additionally, they will have access to fully-equipped office space at the C-DOT campus for six months, along with state-of-the-art lab facilities. The program also offers mentorship from industry leaders and technical experts, helping startups refine their innovations and scale effectively.
Program Structure And Execution
The Samarth Incubation Program follows a hybrid model, blending online and in-person engagement. Each cohort will accommodate up to 18 startups, and over two cohorts, a total of 36 startups will participate. The duration of each cohort is six months, providing ample time for research, development, and market readiness.

A core aspect of the program is to connect startups with investors and industry experts, fostering an ecosystem of collaboration and growth. By building a supportive network, Samarth aims to create new job opportunities and contribute to India's expanding technology landscape.
