Description
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Telangana will conduct the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 final exams from March 21 to April 4, 2025, across 2,650 centres in the state. Candidates are advised to arrive at the exam centre by 8:30 am, though they can enter until 9:35 am, including the grace period of five minutes. The Board recommends early arrival due to potential weather and traffic conditions. Hall tickets for the exams can be downloaded from the official website, with a direct link provided for convenience.
The exam timings will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, with some exceptions. The First Language Composite Course paper will be held from 9:30 am to 12:50 pm. For Science, the exam is divided into two parts Physical Science and Biological Science—with each part having separate dates and timings from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
The BSE Telangana encourages candidates to visit their exam centre a day or two in advance to familiarize themselves with the location and ensure timely arrival on exam day. Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited at the exam centres for both students and staff.
Students are permitted to bring the following items to the exam hall:
Hall ticket
Exam pad
Pen, pencil, scale, sharpener, eraser, geometric instruments.
Upon receiving the question paper, candidates must write their hall ticket number on each page of Part A. However, they should not write their name, hall ticket number, or any mark on the answer booklet, Part B (bit paper), graph, or map. The prescribed box on the OMR sheet, Part B, graph, and map should include the answer booklet serial number. At the end of the exam, students must attach Part B, graph, and map securely to their answer booklet using a thread.
A total of 5,09,403 candidates from 11,547 schools have registered for the 2025 SSC exams, comprising 2,58,895 boys and 2,50,508 girls. The Board has appointed 2,650 chief superintendents, 2,650 departmental officers, and 28,100 invigilators across all 2,650 exam centres.
A round-the-clock control room will be operational at the Office of the Director of Government Examinations in Hyderabad and at all District Educational Offices to address any grievances. Additionally, the Board has made arrangements for police security, Section 144 of CRPC around exam centres, the shutdown of Xerox centres during exam days, and the deployment of flying and sitting squads to prevent malpractices during the exams.
