Description
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the admit card for the RRB ALP CBT 2 exam. Candidates who are set to appear for the Assistant Loco Pilot Computer-Based Test (CBT) 2 can download their hall tickets from the RRB official website.
RRB ALP CBT 2: Exam Pattern
The CBT 2 for Assistant Loco Pilot will be conducted on March 19 and 20, 2025. The exam consists of two parts: Part A and Part B. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes, and there will be 175 questions in total. Here’s the breakdown:
Part A will have 100 questions and will be allotted 90 minutes.
Part B will consist of 75 questions and will be allotted 60 minutes.
The exam will be available in English, Hindi, and 12 regional languages.
Negative Marking: There will be a penalty of 1/3rd marks deducted for each wrong answer.
Normalization of Marks: The marks will be normalized for exams held in multiple shifts.
Minimum Passing Criteria for Part A:
UR & EWS: 40%
OBC (NCL) & SC: 30%
ST: 25%
Candidates will only be shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process based on their performance in Part A, provided they score a minimum of 35% in Part B, regardless of their community.
RRB ALP CBT 2: Important Guidelines
Candidates appearing for the RRB ALP CBT 2 are advised to follow these guidelines:
E-Admit Card - Candidates must bring the printed e-call letter to the exam center.
Valid Photo ID - Candidates are required to present a valid original photo ID, such as a Voter ID, Aadhaar card, printout of e-Aadhaar, Driving License, PAN card, Passport, or any government-issued ID. Students can also show their school/college/university ID card (if still studying). Without a valid ID, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
Photograph - Candidates need to bring a printed copy of the same-colored passport-size photograph that was uploaded during the online application process.
Aadhaar Biometric Authentication - Candidates will undergo biometric authentication (linked to their Aadhaar) before entering the exam hall. Bring your original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar.
Misconduct - Any candidate found indulging in unfair practices such as forgery, cheating, impersonation, using banned items, or misrepresentation will be debarred from appearing in all future RRB and RRC exams permanently.
