This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 21,413 GDS vacancies. Notably, the recruitment process does not involve any written examination. Instead, candidates will be shortlisted based on a merit list generated by the system, which will be prepared according to the marks obtained in the Class 10 board examinations. The shortlisted candidates will be announced on the GDS Online Portal. Following the release of the merit list, selected candidates will be informed about the result and the schedule for physical verification.
The registration period for the India Post GDS Recruitment 2025 was from February 10, 2025, to March 3, 2025. The correction window was open from March 6 to March 8, 2025. To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates must have passed the Class 10 Secondary School Examination with a minimum of passing marks in Mathematics and English. Additional requirements include knowledge of computers, cycling, and having a means of livelihood.
Candidates between the ages of 18 and 40 were eligible to apply for the positions.
