Key Features Of Dulari Kanya Scheme
Originally, the Dulari Kanya Scheme was aimed at providing financial assistance for the institutional births of girls. The government has now increased the fixed deposit for these births from Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000. In addition, a sum of Rs 20,000 will be provided directly to families for the admission of the girl child into Class XI, making the total amount Rs 50,000. This initiative reflects the government's focus on empowering girls in the state. The funds are accessible once the child reaches 18 years of age. By encouraging institutional births, the scheme seeks to improve health outcomes for both mothers and children.
