The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) open the registration window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) MDS 2025 on February 18, 2025. Eligible candidates wishing to apply can do so through the NBEMS official website. The registration portal will be accessible after 3 PM, and the deadline to submit applications is March 10, 2025, by 11:55 PM.
The application correction window will be available from March 14 to March 17, 2025. If there are issues with uploaded images (such as the photo, signature, or thumb impression), candidates will be notified and can make necessary corrections during the final edit window, which will be open from March 27 to March 31, 2025.
The NEET MDS 2025 exam will take place on April 19, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM, with the results expected to be released by May 19, 2025.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay an online examination fee of Rupees 3,500 for General, OBC, and EWS category applicants, and Rupees 2,500 for SC, ST, and PWD candidates. Once submitted, applications cannot be withdrawn, and fees will not be refunded or transferred under any circumstances, as stated in the official brochure.
The exam fee can be paid using Credit Cards, Debit Cards, or UPI.
Additionally, candidates who do not appear for the exam or are disqualified will forfeit their examination fees.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission into the Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) course, candidates must have a Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized university or institute in India and must be registered with the State Dental Council. Candidates must also have completed or be undergoing a one-year compulsory rotatory internship at an approved dental college.
Candidates who are currently completing their compulsory internship and expect to finish by March 31, 2025, can apply for the exam, but they will not be eligible for admission unless they complete the internship and provide proof of provisional or permanent registration by that date. Candidates must submit the original internship completion certificate during counseling.
Candidates found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified from appearing in the exam or counseling.
Scheme Of NEET MDS 2025 Exam
The NEET MDS 2025 will be conducted on April 19, 2025, as a computer-based test in a single session. The exam will consist of 240 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in English. Each question will have four options, and candidates are required to choose the correct answer. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded four marks, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Unattempted questions will not carry any marks.
