The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced an increase in the number of vacancies for the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination (RPSC RAS 2024). According to the latest update, the commission will now fill 1,096 vacancies, up from the previously stated 733. RPSC RAS Prelims 2024 Exam Details

The RAS prelims exam took place on February 2, 2025, in a single shift from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The exam consisted of one paper with objective-type questions, totaling 200 marks. The question paper was designed at the bachelor's degree level and had a duration of 3 hours. The exam featured a negative marking scheme.

Objection Window And Answer Key

Following the prelims exam, RPSC released a provisional answer key. Candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections from February 3 to February 5, 2025 (until 12:00 AM). Any objections had to be supported by evidence from credible, standard sources; objections without proper proof would not be considered. Each objection required a fee of ?100.

Next Steps For Qualified Candidates

Candidates who successfully pass the RPSC RAS prelims will move on to the Mains examination and the interview/personality test rounds. It's important to note that the prelims exam is only a screening test, and its marks will not contribute to the final merit list.
