Description

The Kerala Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2025 session 1 application deadline has been extended by the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala. Candidates now have until 3 PM on February 14 to submit their applications official website. The original deadline was February 10.

Application Fee Details

  • General category candidates: Rupees 1,000

  • SC candidates: Rupees 500

  • ST candidates: No fee required

Note that only Keralite candidates are eligible for fee concessions and reservations, and there is no age limit for applicants.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree of at least three years in any of the following fields: Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management, or an equivalent qualification. Final-year students who will complete their degree before the admission process begins are also eligible to apply.

KMAT 2025 Exam Pattern

The exam will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions, totalling 720 marks. The questions will cover the following areas:

  • English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension

  • Quantitative Aptitude

  • Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning

  • General Knowledge and Current Affairs

For each correct answer, candidates will earn 4 marks. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer, and there will be no penalty or reward for unanswered questions.

KMAT 2025 Pass Marks

The pass marks for each category are as follows:

  • General/SEBC candidates: 10% of the total marks (72 marks)

  • SC/ST/PD candidates: 7.5% of the total marks

After qualifying the entrance test, candidates must participate in additional selection rounds, which include a group discussion and a personal interview. In the final selection process, the entrance exam score will account for 80% of the weight, while the group discussion and personal interview will each contribute 10%.
