Description
The ‘Bikashita Gaon, Bikashita Odisha’ (BGBO) initiative, launched by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in Jankia, Khurda district, aims to bridge the development gap between rural and urban areas in Odisha. With an investment of Rupees 5,000 crore over the next five years, the scheme is focused on improving the living standards of the state's rural population, which comprises 80% of its residents.
