About NaBFID

NaBFID is a specialized Development Finance Institution (DFI) in India, created to bolster the country’s infrastructure sector by facilitating easier credit access through attractive financial instruments and investment channels.

Established in 2021 through the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development Act, NaBFID aims to bridge gaps in long-term non-recourse financing for infrastructure projects. Its goal is to strengthen the development of bond and derivatives markets, while contributing to the sustainable economic growth of India. As an All-India Financial Institution (AIFI), NaBFID is regulated and overseen by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
