The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the postponement of the Class 8 and 9 exams, originally scheduled for January 29 and 30, due to "unavoidable circumstances." The revised dates for these exams will be shared shortly. Students, teachers, and parents are advised to regularly check the JAC official website for updates.
Instructions For Exam Officials
JAC has instructed exam officials to ensure that all exam-related materials, including question papers and answer sheets, are stored securely during the postponement period. The board emphasized the importance of maintaining the confidentiality and safety of these materials.
Original Exam Schedule
Prior to the postponement, the exams for Classes 8 and 9 were planned to take place in two shifts: the first from 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM and the second from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
JAC Exam Pattern And Evaluation
The exams for Classes 8 and 9 will feature multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each subject worth 50 marks. Additionally, schools will assign internal assessment marks, totaling 100. Class 8 exams will be conducted using an OMR sheet, so students should become familiar with this format.
Class 9 Admit Cards
Admit cards for Class 9 students will soon be available on the official JAC website. Students should visit the site regularly to check for updates regarding the release of their admit cards.
