Description

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has updated the schedule for round three of the NEET PG 2024 counselling. The final seat allotment list for this round will be published on January 18. The deadline for choice filling and locking has been extended to 8 am on January 16.

Due to a reduction in the percentile cut-off, the MCC has revised the dates for round three. The choice locking window will be open from 8 am on January 15 until 8 am on January 16. Seat allotment processing will take place from January 16 to January 17. Eligible candidates who wish to participate in the counselling can register by January 15, based on the revised cut-off percentile. Reporting and joining at the allotted colleges will occur from January 18 to January 25.

For eligibility, general and EWS category candidates must have a score of at least the 15th percentile. For SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories, the cut-off is lowered to the 10th percentile. In the previous years, the NEET PG cut-off was reduced to zero for all categories, with the general category cut-off dropping from the 50th percentile to 35th in 2022. The unreserved PwD cut-off was lowered from the 45th percentile to the 20th percentile, while the SC, ST, and OBC categories, including their PwD candidates, saw a reduction from the 40th percentile to the 20th percentile.
