During their training, Bima Sakhis will receive a monthly stipend, which is structured as follows: Rupees 7,000 in the first year, Rupees  6,000 in the second year, and Rupees 5,000 in the third year. Over three years, each participant could earn up to Rupees 2.16 lakh.

LIC plans to recruit 200,000 Bima Sakhis over the next three years. The goal is to ensure that at least one Bima Sakhi is present in every panchayat within a year, which will further extend the reach of insurance services.
