Description
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will be conducting the CSEET January Session Exam 2025 on January 11, 2025. Candidates planning to appear for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) should review the following important guidelines.
Key Instructions For ICSI CSEET January Session Exam 2025
Remote Proctored Mode - The exam will be held through remote proctoring instead of at physical test centers. Candidates can take the exam from their home or another quiet, isolated location using their own laptop or desktop. Mobile phones, tablets, and palmtops are not permitted for the exam.
Pre-exam Setup - Candidates must download and install the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) and SEBLite on their desktop or laptop before the exam. It is important to verify that these applications are working properly.
Required Documents - Candidates should have the following documents ready for verification by the remote proctor: Admit Card, A valid government-issued identity card (e.g., Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, UID Aadhaar Card, or Voter Card). Failure to provide these documents will result in the candidate being unable to appear for the exam.
Monitoring - During the exam, candidates will be monitored via video and audio by a proctor, ensuring a secure testing environment similar to in-person examinations at test centers.
Login Instructions - Candidates must log in to the test portal at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.
Passing Criteria - To pass the CSEET, candidates need to secure at least 40% marks in each individual paper (Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3, and Paper 4) and 50% marks in total across all papers. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Dress Code - Candidates must dress appropriately and decently while appearing for the examination.
