Description
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the schedule for the 2025 academic year's Class 12 practical exams. According to the newly released timetable, the practical exams will be conducted in two phases.
Phase 1- The first phase of the UP Board Class 12 practical exams will commence on January 23, 2025, and conclude on January 31, 2025. This phase will be held in districts including Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti, each under their respective Mandals.
Phase 2 - The second phase of the practical exams will take place from February 1 to February 8, 2025, across the Mandals of Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur.
Pre-Board Practical Exams
In addition to the practical exam dates, UPMSP has also announced the dates for the pre-board practical exams. These will be conducted at the school level, under the supervision of the respective principals, from January 4 to January 10, 2025. These tests are essential in helping students prepare for the main practical exams.
Pre-Board Exams For Class 10 And 12
The pre-board exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 will take place between January 11 and January 21, 2025. These exams will be conducted by the individual schools.
Surveillance During Exams
To ensure the integrity of the exams, UPMSP has mandated that schools install CCTV cameras in examination halls. The recorded footage must be kept for future reference and made available upon request to ensure transparency and fairness during the exams.
Internal Assessment For Practical Exams
For Class 10 students, practical exams will be based on internal assessments, which will include project work and other hands-on activities conducted at the school level. Similarly, for Class 12, practical exams in Yoga, Physical Education, and Moral Education will also be evaluated through internal assessments at the school level.
