Kerala TET November 2024 Admit Card Released

About: Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the admit card for Kerala Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) November 2024. To download the admit card, click on the link provided below.

Important Links

Application Fee

• For General / OBC: Rs. 500/-

• For SC / ST Candidates: Rs. 250/- 

• Pay Fee through Net Banking, Credit / Debit Card.

Age Limit

• There is no age limit to apply for the KTET 2024 Exam.

• Refer to the notification for more details.

Eligibility

For Paper/ Category 1 – Lower Primary Classes (Class 1-5):

• 12th/ 10+2 (or it’s equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks

• Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

• 12th/ 10+2 (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks along with qualifying 2-year diploma in elementary education

• 12th/ 10+2 (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a degree in 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

For Paper/ Category II – Upper Primary Classes (Class 6-8)

• B.Ed. Two-year Diploma/TTC/ D.Ed/ D.L.Ed in Elementary Education along with any other eligible degree to apply for the course. Must pass.

Otherwise

• B.Ed with 45% marks. Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/DLEd qualification along with any eligible degree (NCTE will be applicable) to apply for the course. Rules issued from time to time

Otherwise

• 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) with pass in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (Equivalent) with 50% marks

Otherwise

• 4 years B.Sc/BA in Education (BA.Ed Or B.Sc.Ed) with pass in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (Equivalent) with 50% marks.

Otherwise

• BBA degree awarded or recognized by universities in Kerala if other qualifications are required to write K.TET Category 2.12

• Final year students of D.Ed/D.El.Ed and B.Ed can also apply. While applying for K.TET, a certificate from the head of the institution that you are a 2nd year student must be produced.

Paper/ Category III – High School Classes (Class 9-12)

• Graduation with BA/ BSc/ B.Com degree securing at least 45% marks along with a B.Ed.

• Degree in the subject concerned with MSc.Ed. Degree.

Paper/ Category IV – Language Teachers

• Candidates, possessing a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in teaching in any subject, and are approved by Universities/ NCTE/ Board of Examinations/ Government of Kerala, are eligible to apply.

• Those candidates who have acquired qualifications for the posts of Language Teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers as mentioned in Chapter XXXI of Kerala Education Act And Rules can apply for Kerala TET 2024 Paper IV.

How to apply

1. Read the Notification carefully, Before you apply.

2. The candidates should apply online through the official link from 11 November 2024 to 25 November 2024.

3. Keep your Documents Updated, and at the time of submission check each document carefully.

4. Wherever an Application Fee is required for the Submission of an Application, It must be submitted on time, or else the Application will be rejected.

5. After successful submission of the application, it is required to have a copy of your application form, for further process.
