The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow is now accepting applications for its Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD) for the 2025 academic session. This full-time, rigorous program spans approximately 4.5 years and is designed to cultivate exceptional scholars who will contribute to advancing management knowledge. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for the PhD program must meet the following academic qualifications:
Master’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks;
orA Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or a four-year graduate degree) with at least 65% marks;
orProfessional qualifications such as CA, ICWA, or CS with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and a B.Com. undergraduate degree;
orA two/three-year full-time PGDM from any of the IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 6/10 or 60%.
In addition, candidates must have a valid score in any of the following exams: CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, or JRF/SRF (UGC/CSIR/ICAR). Scores from the past two years will be accepted. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview based on their exam scores.
Candidates with qualifications from IIMs may be exempt from taking an entrance exam and can apply directly.
