• Digital Services - Introduction of digital addresses, expanded payment options, and the establishment of a grievance redressal system without penalties.

• Simplified Product Categories - Revisions in postal product classifications, such as the reclassification of book packets under “Book Post,” and an increase in the money order limit from Rupees 5,000 to Rupees 10,000.

Enhanced Tracking And Registration Services

The new Act mandates that all parcels include tracking features, providing substantial benefits for small and medium-sized businesses. Registration services have also expanded to cover new products, such as pictorial postcards with tracking options. Additionally, provisions for registered newspapers under the Press and Registration of Periodicals Act, 2023, have been streamlined for better transition.
