About PRAGATI
PRAGATI stands for Pro-Active Governance And Timely Implementation. It is a platform that integrates information and communication technology (ICT) to streamline project execution. The aim is to enhance coordination between central and state governments, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and on time, with accountability at every step.
Reviewed Projects
The meeting covered eight key projects. Six of these are metro systems designed to improve urban transport across various regions. During the meeting, the Prime Minister also reviewed the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, a scheme aimed at providing free electricity to households in rural and urban areas.
