IIM Sambalpur has announced that for the academic year 2025-2026, it will independently manage the admission process for its MBA program, including the newly introduced MBA in Business Analytics. This process will also apply to the MBA in Business Analytics program, which offers an opportunity for a dual degree in collaboration with an international institute. The aim of this unified admission process is to create a more streamlined and efficient approach for both the MBA and MBA in Business Analytics programs.
As per the official press release, candidates will have flexible options for their personal interview. They can choose to attend in-person interviews either at the IIM Sambalpur campus or the Delhi campus, or opt for virtual interviews.
Admission Process
Candidates can select between online and offline interview options at IIM Sambalpur’s main campus or its Delhi campus. This same procedure will be followed for both the flagship MBA and the new MBA in Business Analytics programs.
The admission process ensures personalized interactions between IIM Sambalpur and prospective students, enabling a more thorough evaluation.
Admission Timeline
Shortlisting - Candidates selected in the first round will be notified by email by January 10 and must register on the portal by January 25. During registration, candidates will be asked to upload the required documents and indicate their preferred mode for the interview (online or offline).
Second Round - Shortlisted candidates for the personal interview will receive notifications regarding available interview slots. These will be conducted from March 3 to April 18, with options for both in-person and online interviews. The exact dates for offline interviews at the Sambalpur and Delhi campuses will be shared later.
Merit List - The first merit list is expected to be published around May 10, followed by additional lists if necessary, until all seats are filled.
