The PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 will be conducted today, December 4, 2024. This survey, focused on Performance, Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development (PARAKH), will assess the academic proficiency of students in classes 3, 6, and 9 across 88,000 schools in 782 districts. The survey aims to evaluate students’ skills in Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and The World Around Us.
Approximately 23 lakh students from 36 states and union territories will participate in this large-scale survey, which will be conducted in 23 languages, including several regional dialects, ensuring accessibility for all students across the country.

Grade 3 - Students will be assessed on foundational competencies, with a total assessment time of 90 minutes.
Grade 6 - The survey will cover Language, Mathematics, and The World Around Us (TWAU), with an assessment duration of 90 minutes.
Grade 9 - Students will be evaluated in Language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science, with a total assessment time of 120 minutes.
In addition to subject-specific assessments, the survey will gather contextual information on learning conditions through Teacher Questionnaires (TQ), School Questionnaires (SQ), and Pupil Questionnaires (PQ), helping to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the educational environment.
