Description
The Ministry of Education has issued a new notification regarding the reconstitution of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) for the 2025-26 academic session. This restructuring is aimed at facilitating the counselling process for admissions to BTech programs at IITs, NITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) for the upcoming academic year.
The notification highlights the decision to reorganize JoSAA 2025 with new structures to oversee the counselling and seat allocation process for the 2025-26 admissions cycle.

JoSAA conducts the counselling process for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IITs, IIITs, GFTIs, CFTI and other institutions.
