The Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Ayush to raise awareness about Ayurveda and encourage people to understand their individual Ayurvedic Prakriti. Volunteer Engagement
Currently, over 10,737 volunteers are involved in the campaign, working diligently to spread awareness about Ayurvedic principles and the importance of personalized health practices based on Prakriti. Their contributions are key to the campaign’s success in reaching a wider audience.
Prakriti Assessments
As part of the initiative, 6,828 individuals have already completed their Prakriti assessments, which help identify their unique mind-body types. This process offers personalized health insights that align with Ayurveda’s emphasis on individualized wellness and prevention.
Health Pledges
The campaign has seen 11,608 citizens pledge to adopt Ayurvedic practices in their daily lives. These pledges reflect a growing interest in holistic health and the benefits of Ayurveda in promoting overall well-being.
Ministerial Support
The campaign is strongly supported by the Union Minister of State for Ayush, Shri Prataprao Jadhav, who highlighted its success as a sign of increasing awareness about Ayurveda in India. The Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan also aims to set several Guinness World Records. Among the ambitious goals is the creation of the world’s largest online photo album of Prakriti certificates, as well as achieving the most pledges ever made for a health campaign.
