Good news for the youth dreaming of a government job in the police department! Jammu and Kashmir Police has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector (SI). Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has shared the details of this selection process. The application process will start from 3 December 2024 and candidates can apply till 2 January 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website.

This Qualification Has Been Sought For This Recruitment Campaign

1. Candidates willing to apply have been made mandatory to have graduation from a recognized university.

2. Along with this, the candidate should be a permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir.

3. With this, the minimum age of the candidate applying for these posts has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 28 years.

4. With this, the maximum age for service personnel has been fixed at 30 years. Let us tell you that the age will be calculated on the basis of 1 January 2024.

5. With this, the minimum height for men has been fixed at 5 feet 6 inches, while the minimum height for women has been fixed at 5 feet 2 inches.

For this, candidates have to go through written test, physical efficiency test, document verification and medical test.

1. For general category: ? 700

2. For SC / ST / EWS: ? 600
