The Major Atmospheric Cherenkov Experiment (MACE), Asia's biggest imaging Cherenkov telescope, was inaugurated at roughly 4,300 meters altitude in Hanle, Ladakh. Function Of MACE

The telescope has 712 actuators that assist adjust its mirrors, 1,088 photomultiplier tubes (which detect dim light), and 68 camera modules. Despite its huge size, the design keeps the structure lightweight and strong enough to survive extreme temperatures and harsh weather conditions.
