Appointment As Ambassador In France
Sanjeev Kumar Singla is an accomplished diplomat who joined the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) in 1997. He will begin his new post in France soon. His years of diplomatic experience have prepared him well for this key position.
Diplomatic Tenure In Israel
Since October 2019, Sanjeev Singla has become India's Ambassador to Israel. During his stay there, he prioritised preserving strong ties between India and Israel. He additionally supported the Indian community in Israel and helped to resolve the complex issues surrounding the Israel-Palestine conflict. Because of his meticulous treatment of these difficult themes, he became renowned as a "expert on Israel."
Managing Indian-Israeli Relations

He managed to meet the demands of around 18,000 Indian professionals and students residing in Israel. He also interacted with the 85,000 Jews of Indian descent who live in Israel, fostering relationships between the groups.
